Welcome to my Blog! I am Dr. Joseph Kosowsky, Psy.D., and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist by profession. Sew it Seams is a psychology-based fashion blog where I delve into the psychological underpinnings behind my designs.

 

I first got introduced to sewing/fashion during the pandemic while watching "Making the Cut" on Amazon Prime. Since then, I have taught myself to sew and began applying the psychological concepts I was learning about in graduate school to fashion design. This includes emotions, defense mechanisms, diagnosis, and personality styles. I hope you enjoy my designs and the inspirations behind them!
